Vive

This is a personal project re-branding the Vive virtual reality headset line by HTC.

With competitors like Oculus and Apple having such strong brand identities, I wanted to develop something different and meaningful for VIVE. I was inspired by the way pixels in VR headsets allow users to see things that are not actually there in front of them, and began to research optical illusions to see how some might be adapted into a logo.

The trapezoids in this logo, representing pixels, trick the eye into seeing dots in the intersections.

The imagery in this project was AI generated with a photography mood board and existing product photography of the headset itself.
